D* Family Rocks It Out!

So when a friend/client starts the conversation with, "I saw this thing on Pinterest." it makes every photographer's blood run cold.  Because you have no idea if it's even possible, let alone if you can live up to it.

But this chick is different.  She's so real and so genuine and so fun, that pretty much I was willing to try whatever the heck she wanted.  And it turns out her idea was really stinkin' cute.

She wanted a filmstrip display for her living room, which is gimongous and with really tall ceilings.  And this is what we came up with:

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

And this is how it looks in her living room.  Mission accomplished and it was a stinkin' blast!!  Love that girl and her crazy ideas!

Heaven Sent Him

I truly love taking photos for foster families.  This is Baby Boy.  You don't get to know his name, or even see his face.  His foster mom got a call when he was one day old, asking if he could come to her home.  And even though she already has a two year old she adopted, and a one year old foster child, she and her husband instantly said yes to sweet Baby Boy. 

I was just about to write about how special foster families are, because they love with the brightest hope that this baby is theirs for eternity, yet they know they might only have today.

Recent events have taught me that all of us, as parents, are in the same boat.  We love our babies with the hope and faith that we will have an eternity of tomorrows.  But isn't it true that we might only have today. 

And here is proof, that today sweet Baby Boy is eternally loved.

Oh Baby H.  Your Mama lived in Africa, your Daddy lived in Germany.  And here you are, a big ole bundle of cuddles and kisses, right in my own back yard.
